I'm so excited to prune my pieris, but I'm just wondering if there might be any pros and cons to doing so. Do you think you could help me figure this out?
Pruning this pieris is not tough, and I would say relatively simple. Simply focus on eliminating dead, diseased, or damaged branches.
Prune in the spring as it will help it to reproduce flowers in the following season.
The leaves are very simple to trim, and you can use garden shears of any size to suit your preferences. But don't prune too much.
pros : prune any dead, damaged or diseased branches and this can add health to your plants.
cons : don't over-prune
